Teletherapy - Remote Therapy and Counseling in California
I support clients with finding meaning in their lives and taking the necessary steps to get there. I'm straightforward and honest with what you need to hear to grow as an individual. My goal is to empower YOU to take back control of your life to have your needs met and be truly happy!
I offer teletherapy sessions via phone or Zoom. Teletherapy is a convenient alternative to in-person treatment and offers the following advantages:
Sessions can be done from your home, workplace, or other location which is convenient for those who are housebound or live in rural areas where access is limited
Upholds client privacy and improves comfort for those who might fear being seen entering or leaving their therapist’s office
Enhances patient and provider satisfaction by making it easier for patients to stay healthy and receive care for their specific conditions more consistently
Reduces shortage of mental health services

Common Reasons People Seek Therapy
Therapy is a useful tool that helps with a range of issues. People seek therapy for many different reasons, but some of the most common reasons include:
You’re undergoing a big change
Whether it’s a new career or moving to a different city, change can be stressful so it’s normal to need someone to talk to about it. Therapy can help you navigate life’s changes more effectively minimizing the stress that often accompanies change.
You’re having relationship issues
Relationships are hard work. If you’re experiencing problems with your spouse, for example, a therapist can help you learn ways to effectively communicate with him or her.
You’re feeling isolated and alone
Many people who struggle with mental health issues feel like they’re alone in dealing with their experience, but therapy provides a sense of relief that you’re not alone.
You’re experiencing unexpected mood swings
If you’ve noticed your mood has shifted and you’re having more negative thoughts than usual, it might be worth talking to someone about it. A therapist can help you get to the root of the problem.
You’re withdrawing from things you used to enjoy
If you’re normally an active, social person and you’ve stopped engaging in activities you enjoy, this could be a sign that something is up. A loss of motivation is a common symptom of depression and a trained therapist can help you uncover the reasons behind it.
You’re thinking about self-harm
If you’ve been considering self-harm, it’s important to seek professional help from a licensed therapist. If you’re having persistent thoughts of suicide, seek help immediately through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or the Crisis Text Line, or by calling 911.
As a licensed therapist in California, I can provide the help you need to achieve peace of mind and teach you better coping skills to help you navigate the ups and downs that life brings. Contact me today for a free therapy consultation.
